Course Description

Law and Society explores the multidimensional relationship between law and society in the United States. Through course readings, written assignments, discussions, and other activities, PO 312 students will gain deeper knowledge of the legal-political structure of the United States and of enduring issues in American political culture; develop skill at comparing perspectives on the interpretation of law; and strengthen their reading, analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills.
