WJCU-FM

Students interested in radio, podcasting and electronic media have the opportunity to join the staff of WJCU, John Carroll’s non-commercial college radio station.  WJCU is broadcast throughout the Greater Cleveland area on 88.7 FM and streams worldwide online at wjcu.org.  The station offers an eclectic mixture of music, talk, news, and ethnic/foreign language programming created by student and community air hosts, as well as Blue Streaks live sports coverage and analysis.  WJCU provides hands-on training in broadcast operations and content creation for interested students in the form of COM 110 Radio Boot Camp, a one-credit course offered each semester and open to all John Carroll students regardless of major.
