Globally high levels of incidences of violence are gender-based. Girls and women experience disproportional and more brutal levels and forms of violence. Provides a psychological framework for identifying and understanding the causes of such violence. Particular areas of violence that boys and men experience, but not readily discussed, will also be addressed. Prerequisite: EN 125 or equivalent.Corequisite: EN 2681. Offered: Once a year.
