Course Description
Critical examination of poverty and welfare reform, including the causes and consequences of poverty and solutions to eliminate it. The class will participate in a community-based research project with a local partner in the greater Cleveland area on alternating issues, such as affordable housing, food insecurity, and the digital divide.Prerequisite: SC 101 and one additional SC course.
