Courses are offered at beginning and intermediate levels. Students are also encouraged to participate in study-abroad programs and should consult with the coordinator of the Japanese language program and the Center for Global Education early on.
Graduates with proficiency in Japanese are well positioned for jobs in fields such as government, international relations, finance, tourism, translation, and teaching.
While courses are offered under this designation, JCU does not offer a Japanese program.
