IMMERSION PREP: CHIAPAS, MX

This combination 0-credit (Fall) and 1-credit (Spring) class is to prepare students for an immersion experience in Chiapas, MX and to accompany them as they process what they experienced when they return from the immersion. AR 160E/F will provide students with an opportunity to learn about the complex historical, social, economic, and political realities facing Mexicans of the Chiapas region. It will also provide students with an in-depth immersive experience where they will learn directly from the people. After the immersion experience, students will reflect on how this experience can be carried forward into their daily life at John Carroll University, into their future careers, and beyond.
