Course Description
This 0-credit (Fall) and 1-credit (Spring) class is to prepare students for an immersion experience to the US/MX border, and to accompany them as they process what they experienced when they return from the immersion AR 160N will provide students with an opportunity to learn about the complex historical, social, economic, and political realities facing migrants. It will also provide students with an in-depth immersive experience where they will learn directly from the migrants and people on both sides of the border. After the immersion experience, students will reflect on how this experience can be carried forward into their daily life at John Carroll University, into their future careers, and beyond.
