MOLECULAR GENETICS

Three hours of lecture per week. Gene and genome analysis; genome organization; transposable elements; chromosome structure; structure, replication, and expression of genetic information with an emphasis on eukaryotes. Reading and analysis of current primary literature. Prerequisites: Genetics, Biochemistry. Prerequisite: BL 213 and (CH 431 or CH 435).
