Course Description

Basic measurement concepts and descriptive statistics followed by in-depth study of test score interpretation, reliability, and validity. Also, the application of major tests used by clinical mental health/school counselors and school psychologists, such as intelligence tests, standardized achievement tests, personality tests, interest inventories, and neuropsychological assessment; general assessment skills and ethical and legal issues in school and non-school settings. Prerequisite: CG 502, CG 509, or ED 502.
