DIVERSITY ISSUES IN COUNSELING

Builds the personal and professional development of counseling practitioners through studying sociological, historical, philosophical, and psychological scholarship about the many cultures, races, ethnic groups, and other minority groups that constitute American society. Considerations of racism, sexism, exceptionality, and other diversity issues are applied to a variety of counseling, educational, and agency settings.
