DOCTORAL STUDIES PREPARATION SEMINAR

Preparation for applying to doctoral programs. Mentoring on a research project, poster presentations of scholarship; mock interviews, networking and informational interviews; differences between counselor education, clinical psychology, counselor psychology, and online vs. traditional degree programs; personal statements; letters of recommendation; extracurricular and professional development activities to strengthen doctoral applications. Prerequisite: Instructor permission required.
