Course Description

Prerequisites: CH 367, CH 478 and Chair permission. Three hours of lecture per week. Literature-based research course. Instruction in the proper use of chemical literature, as well as further development of a student’s abilities to communicate chemistry in both writing and in oral presentation. Includes a final project with a written and oral presentation component. Fulfills the Capstone, Additional Writing, and Oral Presentation requirements in the major for the Integrative Core Curriculum. Only accepted or conditionally accepted chemistry majors or students working to complete chemistry minor requirements and are accepted or conditionally accepted as majors in another program will be permitted to register for CH 398.  Offered: Every other Spring starting Spring 2024.
