WORKING IN SPORTS MEDIA

Starting with a brief history of sports broadcasting, students dive into a practical, skills-based course in which they cover sports on the field, on the air and online. Uses the Klein TV Studio, WJCU radio, and the internet to do live event coverage, play by play, color commentary, and filming at sports events. Students must be able to attend events on weekends.
