Course Description
Requires formal admission to teacher education and Primary licensure. Creating, selecting, and using appropriate informal and formal assessments to understand and plan for student development and learning across the social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language domains. Emphasis on how to share information with families and colleagues. Fieldwork in diverse settings in either a K-1 or 2-3 classroom. Offered: Fall.Prerequisite: ED 100 (min grade C) and ED 253 (min grade C), and formal admission to teacher education and Primary licensure.
