Course Description
Introduction of basic measurement concepts and review of basic descriptive statistics followed by an in-depth study of test score interpretation, reliability, and validity. Application of major tests employed by educators, school psychologists, clinical mental health and school counselors such as intelligence tests, standardized achievement tests, personality tests, interest inventories, and neuropsychological assessment. General assessment skills and ethical and legal issues in school and non-school settings. Offered: Fall, Spring & summer. Prerequisite: Recommended to have taken CG 509 or ED 502.Offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
