INTERMEDIATE GERMAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

Strengthens learners’ communication skills at the intermediate level. Particular emphasis on analysis of authentic materials, small-group discussions, short compositions. Learners build vocabulary and explore facets of contemporary German culture. Includes reflection on one’s own and others’ cultural norms, values, and beliefs. Prerequisite: GR 102 or equivalent or by placement test.
