Develops skills to translate a variety of data types into conceptual insights and exposes students to “big data'' and the analytical process and tools to manage and exploit the data. Topics include data types and sources, constructing queries, data analysis, predictive analytics, and the reporting and presentation of analyses.Prerequisite: BI 200, EC 210 (or other comparable statistics class).
