HEALTH PROFESSIONS FOUNDATIONS

This course will provide resources and activities to help students to identify if a career in healthcare is right for them and then put them on the path to realize that career goal. Topics will include an overview of pre-health milestones and requirements, career exploration, identity exploration, discernment, academic decisions and handling academic stumbles, "gap time" / professional development, shadowing etiquette, application tips, interviewing skills, and tackling standardized tests. This course is designed for the pre-med, pre-dental, pre-PA, or pre-healthcare student who is in the early stages of their journey.
