An examination of life's ultimate questions: those profound mysteries and fundamental issues all humans must confront, which demand a personal response; how these questions have been articulated and expressed through the centuries. Within the context of humankind's response to these ultimate questions that a concept of religion will begin to evolve. Religion will come to be understood as the story we inhabit: that narrative we "believe into"; one that shapes our identity, influences our decisions, forms our actions, and provides the context within which we respond to the ultimate questions.
